Darlene has owned Snippers since 1984. She prides herself in putting together a strong and educated team to give clients the best in hair and esthetic care. Snippers was relocated in 2001 to a historic building built in 1948, located at 43 Superior Street. The historic building adds a bit of charm to the clients experience. She welcomes you to come see us and expect to be impressed!
Amelia has been with Snippers since October 2014 and hairdressing since 2013. She specializes in blondes, balayages, long hair styling and hair extensions. She is also a Kevin Murphy Session Salon Stylist.
Vanessa has been a stylist with Snippers since 2002. She specializes in color, curly hair and bridal updos. She is also certified in all methods of hair.
Jackie has been the salon coordinator for The Snippers team since 2000. She looks forward to seeing all of our clients’ smiling faces every day.
Jessica has been an esthetician with Snippers since 2011. She specializes in diabetic and senior foot care. She is also certified in advanced skin care.
Jules has been with snippers since 2021. Jules claims she can’t pick an aspect of hair to specialize in because she loves doing it all, though her favourite to dabble in is vivid colours. She is excited to make your hair dreams a reality!
Fresh out of hair school, McKenna is ready to get behind the chair! Although she loves doing blondes and all kinds of colours the most, she looks forward to bringing confidence to each and every client!
Stephanie is a holistic wellness practitioner specializing in sound healing and private red light therapy sessions. Her work is rooted in nervous system regulation, deep rest, and creating a sense of safety within the body.
Blending reiki, therapeutic sound, vibration, and light-based practices, Stephanie offers calming, one-on-one experiences designed to reduce stress, support recovery, and restore balance. Her sessions are intentionally gentle, intuitive, and deeply grounding.
She also offers stress relieving shampoos and head massages…. More of a ceremonial approach, she assists in releasing energy that may be trapped within your body.
